To maintain a tidy and nice environment in Eikeberget housing association, it is important that all residents follow the routines for waste management. This will contribute to reduce costs for the housing association and reduces the risk of odours and pests.
We have containers for residual waste, cardboard/paper, organic waste (food waste) and glass.
All household waste/residual waste and food waste must be placed in bags, which must be tied before they are placed in the correct container.
It is not allowed to leave waste outside the containers.
If the container is full, the waste must be taken back.
It is not permitted to leave waste in the housing association's common areas, including the garage and outdoor areas.
Waste that should not be thrown in the containers:
Electrical waste, batteries and other types of special waste must be delivered to approved collection points, e.g. Elkjøp or Power.
Clothes, textiles and shoes are bagged and delivered in collection boxes for clothes or in a thrift store. Examples of collection boxes are Fretex at Rema 1000 and in the IKEA parking lot.

Garden waste: We have our own disposal area for garden waste. This is located on the right side of the driveway to the garage.
