Project Resident Competence
The project was started by volunteers in the housing association in 2023 and works closely with the board.
The goal of the project is to strengthen the residents' competence within three priority areas: Preventive fire protection in the individual apartment, waste management, and follow-up of new residents. Other areas are being considered, such as knowledge of self-preparedness.
A project group has been formed with 7 people from different parts of the housing association and one person from the board is participating. In addition, there are many people who are interested in the project and receive information by email.

On August 27, 2024, an open meeting was held for all residents about preventive fire protection, where Rogaland Fire and Rescue IKS spoke about fire prevention in the individual apartment.
The project group has been working to find information and create a checklist for fire protection, information about waste management and general information for new residents. In collaboration with the board, information will be updated on the housing association's website and facilitate increased resident competence.
