By fire alarm
- Make sure everyone is notified.
- Close doors and windows.
- Exit the building quickly.
- Do not use a lift.
- Go to the common meeting place. The football field by the  playground

In the event of a fire
- Warn people in danger by shouting "Fire! Fire!".
- Help each other out to a common meeting place.
- Notify the fire service on the emergency number 110.
- Tell the fire department if there are still people inside.
Note: Fire smoke is highly toxic! If the stairwell is filled with smoke, use an alternative escape route or return to the apartment.
Make yourself known via a window or balcony, so that rescue personnel can help you out safely.

Rescue, warn, extinguish
You must decide the order in which to do in the event of a fire based on the situation. "Rescue, warn, extinguish" is a useful rule of thumb:

1. RESCUE: Make sure everyone gets to safety.
2. NOTIFY: Notify the fire service on the emergency number 110.
3. EXTINGUISH: Try to extinguish the fire, but never expose yourself or others to unnecessary danger.
